HMS
played host to veterans and
community members on Friday,
November 13th.In addition
to breakfast, those in attendance:
listened to the 3 winners
of the VFW's
Patriot's Pen Essay Contest
saw our own Mrs. Cussen honored
as the VFW's
Citizenship Education Teacher
shared in the PTA's dedication
of a bench in memory of
Capt. Jonathan Grassbaugh enjoyed
patriotic songs sung by the
HMS chorus
viewed the school's Veteran's
Day decorations, including
military artifacts belonging
to our veterans.

Hampstead Turkey Classic is Coming! The Hampstead Hawks Middle
School Athletic Club is pleased to sponsor the
2009 Hampstead Turkey Classic at the Hampstead
Middle School gym on Friday, November 20th &
Saturday, November 21st.
The HMS boys’ and girls’ basketball
teams will challenge school teams from Bedford,
Derry and Pelham.
The daily cost of admission is $3.00 for adults
and $2.00 for students & senior citizens.
Coaches, athletes and children under 5 are free.
A full concession stand will be available for
all games.
Please come and show your school spirit and
cheer on your favorite home-town team!

The HMS Military Support
Club is preparing holiday cards and packages
for 15 servicemen
and women who not
be home
for the holiday.
Please consider creating a
personalized card for one or more of our
military friends on the list!
Cards should be dropped
off at HMS Office by Dec 7th.
Supplies
are also needed by Dec 7th for their
"treat packages", including:
Twizzlers, M & Ms, candy canes,
small stockings, bags of Dunkin’
Donuts coffee, phone cards, powdered
drink mix that can be
added to water such as PROPEL or
GATORADE mix, trail mix, canned
nuts,
gum, playing cards, puzzle books,
word search books,
hard candy.
